Breaking down all three levels of Reiki—
Reiki is based on the principle that there is a universal energy that flows through all living things and that this energy can be harnessed to heal the body, mind, and spirit.
As I’ve shared many times, Reiki has three levels, each of which builds on the previous one.
In this conversation, we will explore each level of Reiki.
Reiki Level 1
The first level of Reiki is focused on self-healing. In this level, students are taught the basics of Reiki, including the history and principles of the practice. Students also learn about the chakras and the energy body. They are introduced to the hand positions used in Reiki healing and practice giving Reiki to themselves and others.
The main objective of level 1 is to help students connect to the universal energy and learn how to channel it—opening up to their own intuitive gifts.
This level is often referred to as the physical level, as it primarily focuses on healing physical ailments.
Reiki Level 2
Level 2 is also known as the mental/emotional level of Reiki. In this level, students learn to use Reiki to heal mental and emotional issues, as well as physical ailments. They are introduced to the Reiki symbols used for distance healing, mental and emotional healing, and power amplification.
Students in level 2 are taught how to perform distance healing, which allows them to send Reiki energy to someone who is not physically present. They also learn how to perform group healings, how to work with clients in a professional setting, and even how to facilitate Reiki for animals.
Reiki Level 3
Level 3 is the highest level of Reiki and is often referred to as the spiritual level. In this level, students are taught how to become Reiki masters and how to teach others the practice of Reiki. Students are also introduced to the master symbol, which is used to enhance their Reiki practice and to help others connect with the universal energy.
At this level, students are expected to have a deep understanding of Reiki and a strong connection to the universal energy. They are encouraged to continue their own spiritual growth and to use Reiki to help others on their spiritual journey.
Reiki is a powerful healing practice that can be used to heal physical, mental, and emotional issues. The three levels of Reiki build upon each other, with each level expanding on the previous one.
Whether you are interested in using Reiki for self-healing or to help others, each level of Reiki can provide you with the tools and knowledge to deepen your practice and connect with the universal energy.
